Why a Natural Deodorant?
Published scientific studies have warned that antiperspirants and deodorants can be related to breast cancer because these products usually contain some harmful substances (parabens and aluminium), which can be absorbed through the skin or enter our body through smallcuts caused by axillary shaving.
Aluminium-based compounds are used as the active ingredient in antiperspirants and may be absorbed by the skin.
Parabens are used as a preservative in deodorants and were found by researchers in breast cancer tissue.
To minimize this potential risk, we can do a natural homemade deodorant without parabens and aluminium.
This deodorant is quite effective, very easy to prepare and a cheaper alternative to commercial deodorants.
